2014 Calendars Are Coming Soon!

Hi, Everybody!

I’m really enjoying my 2013 Calendar with all my buddies in it! I hear from good sources that the 2014 Calendar has just gone to print. I’m so excited that my tail won’t stop wagging! My friends Willie, Kayak, Cody, Rylee, Kasey, Max, Missy, Ally, Huck, Dakota, Amber, Honey, Dharma, Scout, Archer, Levi, Cooper, PJ, Dallas, Riley, Bear, and lots more are in this next one. And you ought to see Lincoln on the cover! What a guy. Oh, my story is in it, too. They call me a superstar! (blush) I’m just a Golden doing what comes natural to me.

You can be among the first to get the new calendar when it goes on sale at our annual picnic on Sunday, September 22. It will also be for sale at upcoming events and some local doggie stores. If your doggie store doesn’t have it, ask them to contact us for some.

Gracie Finds A Family

Gracie (now known as Daisy) found her forever home in early July.  When the Hunter’s babysat her for the 4th of July holiday, they immediately knew she made their family feel whole again.  Her older Golden brother, Dallas, was absolutely thrilled to have a gentle but spunky playmate.  They wrestle and roll all around the house and in the yard.  She has a human brother, Wesley, who is about her age.  He has already learned that she is a fantastic friend and fetch partner.  

 

The Hunters want to thank SEVA GRREAT for bringing this special redhead to our family and for taking such wonderful care of her.  You would never know that active puppy Daisy had major orthopedic surgery!  She is a true success story, and we know she will forever be grateful to all the volunteers that donated time, resources, and love to help her heal and find a family to be by her side for the rest of her life.

Aug 11th – Virginia Craft Beer Festival in Williamsburg!

Thanks to our GRREAT friends at Anderson’s Corner Animal Hospital and DoG Street Pub, SEVA GRREAT has been chosen as one of the rescues to benefit from the festivities at the first annual Virginia Craft Beer Festival. Entry fee for the festival is $25, which includes the beer tastings and food, and there will be lots of great raffle items.

So join us for the festivities this Sunday August 11th, or stop by as a volunteer (no ticket required) to show your thanks to our supporters!! Our Goldens are SO lucky, and we hope to see you there!
